Random Inkings

When I procrastinate or don’t want to do what’s in front of me, I obsess on other things. Lately, with the gray weather around here and a deep need for a change, I’ve been obsessing about living near the ocean somewhere. Not that I’m going to do anything real soon, but still.

Remember this post and this picture?

Well, lookee what I found on a real-estate site for homes in South Carolina? If I sold my home now, I could purchase it with some money left over. That is, if I don’t win the dream home first.

MLS 728182

Is it a sign? Is it? How beautiful is that? Why do I have this obsession? It’s clearly distracting me from something. Or is it pushing me toward something. I have no idea.

I’d better get my work done or I’ll have to sell this house because I’ll have missed my mortage payment because my employer fired me for not getting my work done. Sigh. Crapola.

  1. Sell the house your in now to buy that one in South Carolina? I’d sell my soul for that house. Mentally I’m already sitting on the front porch.

  3. hee hee, Wendy. At first I didn’t get your second comment because I flew right past the error on my way to that front porch.

  5. Teri, it totally IS! I don’t know why I’m drawn to South Carolina. I really don’t.

  6. Oh no! We’re both creatively visualizing the same dream house, in the same area of the country! This is soooo beautiful. I’d move for it in a heartbeat.

  7. @MB: If I get that house (ever) know that you and Tom will always be welcome guests! We can sit on the front porch with our old hair and reminisce about the good ol’ days of blogging. LOL. With our lapdogs too.

  8. Thank you! It sounds wonderful!!!! Like you, I’ve always been drawn to SC (and a few other places). Don’t know why, but if there are houses like that there, maybe that’s why. Maybe a dream house is waiting.
