Not a Manic Monday

But close to it in the end. My day worked out great for the most part. I sent off the edit to the client on time. (Still haven’t heard back from him that he got it.) I got another job sent my way – only about 20 hours, but this one will be fun. I have to edit a 30 minute demonstration script down to 10 or 15 minutes. Transcribed, the original script is NINE pages. Can you imagine? I read it and all I can hear is Charlie Brown’s teacher going wah wah wawa wah. Or however that goes.

Then it was off to the “spa”. Not really but I did get a nice therapeutic massage and the Synergie treatment. Boy that stuff is making me thirsty – for water – and cleansing out my system. Then to the chiropractor, then home.

After all that I just wanted to stop and take a nap, but I needed to go to Target and to the dollar store. I needed more of those lovely candles for my office. Then, when I got home, all hell broke loose, or so it seemed. The neighbor came to get her puppies at the same time a lady came to look at a computer desk I’m selling, and I couldn’t find my glasses, and the computer wouldn’t connect to the internet. (Clearly we got that last one fixed just fine.)

I don’t know about anyone else, but when I have too much going on all at once like that I become accident prone. I could feel it coming on so I slowed down to a turtle march. Took a deep breath and paused.

Oh, and one of the jobs I already interviewed for didn’t pan out. But I have another interview tomorrow afternoon with another agency for two possible positions. Meanwhile, somehow, miraculously I haven’t gone under yet. I know why. IRS Refunds.

  1. You did more today than I do in a month. And I give you tons of credit, because when I have a lot going on I don’t get accident prone, I have a melt down.

  2. I need a nap now! I don’t know how you get so much done. What is this “Synergie treatment” you speak of?

  3. @Wendy: I didn’t think it was a lot, but looking back, it was. I paid for it this morning in stiffness and aches.

@MB: This (link below) shows you what Synergie is. It was originally designed for treatment and removal of scar tissue. It’s now evolved for treatment of cellulite. So, hopefully the side effect of using this method to help with my fibro and the car accident tissue damage will result in the removal of all fat and cellulite from my body. LOL. However, what is happening already is that I’m drinking more water (the lymphatic system is stimulated through this treatment) and as a result, I’m wanting to eat more healthily.
