How Did I Do It?

Filed under: Random — Little Miss @ 8:54 pm

I really have no idea. I drove 416 miles round trip from Thursday to today. I’m sore, stiff, and exhausted. I pushed myself the entire way home. The flare was starting early yesterday, and then I slept horribly last night and had to be up at 6:30 to go to a breakfast at 8. Around noon we checked out of our hotel, stopped for lunch with our friend, Mary, and then went to her house for a quick tour. We finally got on the road home about 2:30 or so. Thirty minutes later, mom wanted a snack and I needed water. All I could think about was getting home so I could collapse. Why is it that exits of the freeway out here are so friggin confusing? The sign said there was a Safeway, and I could see the Safeway, but danged if I could figure out how to get to it. Argh. So we got back on the freeway and went up a few more exits to a different one. After that, it was a nice ride the rest of the way home, but every bump made my fibro hurt worse.

But I’m home, and that’s all I have for now. I’m going to go collapse.

  1. You need one of those deep claw foot tubs like in the movies, with steaming water you can sink into, and a hot washcloth to lay across your face while you soak. Sigh… I just described my idea of a perfect evening.

  2. GPS…..it tells you exactly where food is and how to get to it. GPS rocks! you can tell it what sort of things you want to find along your route and it will tell you where they are…even things like fabric stores. 🙂
