I should be working

Or getting paid to surf the Internet and Blogland.

I have a gig now that is a challenge. I love challenges. Sometimes. This particular gig – for a new client and agency – is helping to ghost-write a two or three day training manual. That’s all I can say about the topic. The author has provided me with his source material, which consists mainly of a bunch of raw notes and crapola. I have to make sense of it and turn it into something consumable by a student. Riiiight.

No, seriously. I do love this stuff, and this is what I’m good at. I don’t know why I’m good at it but I seem to have the ability to get inside people’s heads – or rather, their words – and make sense of what they really want to say. So, this is my challenge.

That, and sitting at my desk, being a nosy neighbor and checking out the new people who bought the house across the street from me. They haven’t figured out yet that I can see straight into their windows from my office window. LOL. Poor peeps.

  1. I’m so glad you’ve got a paying gig doing what you enjoy and are good at, but if you figure out how to make money from scenario #2, please let me know!

As for the across the street neighbors- you’re not being nosy, you’re just multi-tasking.

  2. I never pull the curtains on the windows in the kitchen or dining room. Guess I’d better re-think that!

Can I send you the instruction manual for my digital camera? It needs an expert to rewrite it because I just don’t get it and it’s frustrating.
