Second Time Around

Filed under: Uncategorized — Little Miss @ 7:54 pm

011I spent a lot of time with this little guy today and his big brother and sister – and my daughter, of course. This little top he’s wearing is one I made for his brother. (In all honesty, I took this picture about a week ago.) Evan is laughing now and loves when I play with his feet and tickle him. He wants to sit up all the time and see what is going on around him. He’s such a sweet boy. When it was time to go home, his brother Cayden said, “No go home, Gamma. You stay my house.” Those words will ring in my ears from now to eternity, especially during the days when he no longer has time for me and is too busy being a boy and playing and growing up. In a couple years, though, hopefully, I’ll hear the same thing from Evan. I am so especially grateful that I live so close and have the time right now while they are young to really be a part of their lives.

  1. This is so sweet. Cayden just melts your heart like ice cream, I’ll bet. And Evan just keeps getting more adorable. How great that you’re getting to spend this time with them.

MB: Cayden does melt my heart. He is a sweet-hearted boy. I’m lucky to spend time with them, for sure.

  2. Cool names! I have a new nephew, they named him Henry. He was almost 9#s but only 18 inches – can’t you just imagine the little round ball he must be? I won’t be able to see him for a long time, probably… oh well.

Curious: They are cool names. My daughter chose Cayden because it was so unusual. Now there are Caydens everywhere – spelled all ways: Caden, Kaiden and so on…

  3. What the … what on earth are you doing with all these cute babies?! Send some my way. If you don’t I’ll understand, but you do have to continue sharing them with us. Evan is like a “Newborn Thumbelina” doll. Remember those? I had one and I adored it.

Wendy – Yup, I might have even had one of those. My daughter and her hubby just make pretty darn cute babies. Wait till you see the new picture of Evan I’m going to post later. Hee Hee.
